EntrepreneurShip Investigation Program
The EntrepreneurShip Investigation Program (ESI) is a U.S. certified program that was developed by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln 4-H educators. The program is designed specifically for middle school students with the aim of improving their formal and informal knowledge about entrepreneurship and providing opportunities for hands-on experience with entrepreneurship.
The American Councils Office in Armenia will recruit and train 18 USG Alumni who will deliver the Program to middle school students in the regions. In the first stage of the Program the American Councils office will organize a three-day weekend training for the recruited alumni, during which they will go through the program themselves and receive instructions for delivering the program to students. During the next 3-4 months the Alumni will deliver the program to middle schoolers in the regions with support from the American Councils. In the final stage of the program the products created by middle schoolers through mock loans received within the project and the support of USG Alumni Trainers will be showcase in local fairs for sale, after which the students will repay the mock loans and retain the proceeds.
Application for trainers to be involved in the project is open until March 3, 2023 11:59 PM (GMT+4).
The Project is administered by the American Councils for International Education in Armenia and funded by the US Embassy in Armenia. The opinions, findings and conclusions or recommendations expressed herein are those of the Author(s) and do not necessarily reflect those of the Department of State.
