It is with great pleasure that we extend to you an exclusive invitation to the Annual Networking and Professional Development Conference tailored specifically for USG Alumni. This distinguished event promises three days replete with enriching sessions, scholarly discourse, and unprecedented networking opportunities.

Alumni interested in participating must register for the Professional Development Conference. The registration form will be shared on USG Alumni social media pages, sent via newsletter, and posted on the American Councils Armenia website.
A shortlisting process will follow to select participants.

The 2024 Professional Development Conference kicked off on May 24, 2024, with an engaging evening of registration at 6:00 PM, followed by inspiring opening remarks from distinguished speakers, including Dagen Valentine from Peace Corps Armenia, U.S. Ambassador Kristina Kvien, and Zhanna Andreasyan from IVLP. This was followed by a session featuring USG Alumni for Armenia, with notable contributions from Hovhannes Yeritsyan, Arman Khojoyan, Karine Sarkissian, and Irina Ghaplanyan. Attendees had the opportunity to connect during a delightful reception dinner and networking session at 8:00 PM, fostering collaboration and camaraderie among participants.
Day two, May 25, began at 10:00 AM with welcoming remarks, leading into a series of concurrent sessions. These included valuable discussions on the educational ecosystem with speakers like Karine Kostanyan and Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, as well as critical topics such as media literacy and conflict resolution. After a coffee break and group photo session at 11:30 AM, attendees engaged in more thought-provoking concurrent sessions, covering career navigation, peacebuilding perspectives, and grant writing mastery. A networking lunch at 1:00 PM provided further opportunities for attendees to connect, followed by a networking activity and additional sessions on women empowerment, real-world challenges, and entrepreneurship.
The excitement continued with a big community canvas facilitated by Samvel Hovhannisyan and concluded with a concert by Mikayel Voskanyan from the MVF Band at 4:15 PM.
On May 26, the final day began with registration and networking, leading to opening remarks on grant opportunities with American Councils, delivered by Fulbright alumna Syuzanna Martirosyan. Concurrent sessions throughout the day included discussions on tech innovation, supporting displaced people from Nagorno-Karabakh, and bridging informal and formal education. The conference culminated in a closing ceremony at 1:30 PM, leaving participants inspired and connected.
